Dead Soft
Dead Soft is a three piece rock n roll band from Vancouver, BC comprised of members Nathaniel Epp, Keeley Rochon, and Alex Smith. Blending heavy, dirge-like punk with an upbeat pop flourish, Dead Soft has been known to evoke an aesthetic of doom and sweetness in equal measure. Formed in 2011 by Nathaniel and Keeley, Dead Soft released a string of EPs and singles leading up to their debut self-titled album, originally released by Vancouver indie label Kingfisher Bluez in 2014 and later reissued by JEFF The Brotherhood’s Infinity Cat Recordings. In 2018 the band teamed up with Canadian indie label titans Arts & Crafts to release their EPs “New Emotion” and “Baby Blue” as well as their second full length album “Big Blue”. Dead Soft has brought their raucous and exhilarating live show to audiences all over North America including stints with bands Bully, The Dirty Nil, Daniel Romano and The Outfit, and Goon. Since launching their own label Westerly Records in 2022, Dead Soft has released a stream of singles and music videos and are hard at work on their third studio album.
